Looking to cast a line in Allatoona? Horton’s Fishing Adventures is your ticket! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Josh can tell you all about them.
Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Black Bream, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions.
On the day of your trip, you’re likely to use light or heavy tackle.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You’ll be welcome aboard either a 21’ Ranger Bass boat with a 225 HP motor & room for 3 passengers. It has a all the essentials no fishing machine can run without and another 20 foot Pro Guide Ranger boat with a 175 Mercury!
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Lunch is provided, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.

Fun day with grandson

My grandson, has fallen in love with fishing. Capt Josh was very friendly and patient with him for the whole trip. He taught my grandson and coached him on fishing. My grandson commented several times how "Josh was cool and so nice. He caught a 5 lb bass as a highlight. Recommend this charter.

This was a last minute booking and Captain Josh was great getting us on board. Two young boys went on the trip, and Josh worked so hard to make sure they had a great time. Would definitely book again with him. His knowledge of the eater and fishing was top notch. Lets face it, this types of excursions are expensive, rest assured this is a great Captain to make the investment with. Thanks Josh.
