Had a great trip with Captain Josh Horton! He put us on fish all day and I ended up landing a nice trophy spotted bass. Josh clearly knows the water and worked hard to keep us on the bite. Highly recommend if you're looking for a productive, fun day on the water!
First time my brother-in-law and myself fished for stripers. That was the goal and we told our guide. Neither one of us had ever caught one. It was a foggy day so we got started late but within 45 minutes on the lake we had our first striper. 10 lbs plus. within another half hour we had our second striper. we had met our goal in less than two hours of fishing. That was it for the stripers but we continued to catch largemouth bass and spotted bass all we good size. It was a great day with a lot of action with no problems. We will be back.
Josh and his dad provided excellent service. Josh and his dad kept us well supplied with different rods ready to go with artificial and live bait and coached us with their expert knowledge. The goal was for my 10 y/o son to "get a win" by catching a bass. It was pretty cold and windy that morning, although it did warm up closer to noon. I'm thinking other guides would have cancelled, but Josh got us out there. We did end up getting a fish, even though they didn't seem interested in biting. I highly recommend Josh Horton for your fishing adventure.
It was a tough day on the lake but the captain did not give up and found some fish for us. Everyone caught fish!
