If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Mitzi B Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Roger can tell you all about the local fishery. With over 40 years of combined experience, between the captain and the first mate, you will enjoy your trip.
The fish in these waters include Spanish Mackerel, Catfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and more with any luck. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 35' Bertram sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. All of their rods are custom Steve Fogle rods with Okuma reels. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I had an incredible sea fishing experience thanks to Caption Roger and the team. They were friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about fishing techniques and local waters. From explaining how to set up the gear to giving tips on reeling in the catch, they made the trip enjoyable for everyone, no matter their skill level. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they created a relaxed yet exciting atmosphere on board. We caught several fish and learned so much along the way. Ive hired many charters in my adult life and captain Roger and first mate Joe are the real deal. They are very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind with a comfortable boat with a head(toilet). If you want your best shot at catching fish and shooting skeet ,these are your guys!!

Fantastic Experience With the Excellent Crew

I planned this little family adventure months ahead as a little family adventure. And oh boy, I’ve made a right choice. Captain Roger was responsive and we came to a terms, his mates were all helpful friendly and everyone learned a lot and I mean A LOT about fishing on the bay, rod handling and such.
