The fish in these waters include Spanish Mackerel, Catfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and more with any luck. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 35' Bertram sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. All of their rods are custom Steve Fogle rods with Okuma reels. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I booked this charter as a gift for my parents and invited a few friends along, and every single one of us had an absolute blast. We reeled in well over 20 fish, but the people made the day even more memorable. Captain Roger and First Mate Joe had us laughing the entire trip. They are two of the most down-to-earth, genuine folks you could hope to spend a day with on the water. By the end of the trip, we were already talking about when we'd come back. We all agreed we'll be booking with the Mitzi B Charter again. It truly could not have been a better experience. If you're thinking about booking a trip, don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

They EXCEEDED all of my expectations and I have HIGH expectations lol. They are genuinely great people. They made sure we were comfortable, taken care of, and they worked to make sure we caught fish! Now, I am from a family where you understand that fishing is an experience and that it does not always result in a catch. I would have been OVERJOYED without catching fish because that is how AWESOME they are. Captain Roger was amazing with our son, and Mr. Joe, encouraging him as he caught fish. We ended up with a nice size haul of Rockfish. They took the time to teach us technique as well. They were also great coaching my 13yo son. Everything was very convenient and went very smooth. It was a great day and we definitely recommend their charter.

My sons and I spent the day with Captain Roger and his first mate Joe. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and personable. Captain Roger worked tirelessly to make sure we caught our Rockfish limit. He reached out to other Captains in the area to get intel on the best spots for us to fish for the day. We finished the day with some skeet shooting on the water after catching our limit. We had a lot of fun and made some great memories. If you're looking to fish the Chesapeake Bay, book the Mitzi B with Captain Roger.

our family had the best trip with Cpt Roger and Joe. they were great with our kids and we caught ao many fish. we didnt have great weather but it didnt dappen the mood at all. safety was always their top priority and having fun was as well. the kids had a blast (ages 7-15) and we will definitely be back for another fishing trip soon! we highly recommend them!
