Sound to Summit Alaska Adventures
Sound to Summit Alaska Adventures is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Prince William Sound. With Captain Nate at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Captain Nate specializes in multi-day and overnight trips, allowing you to keep your possession limit rather than just daily limits, although he can accommodate day trips as well.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Halibut, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Lingcod, Black Rockfish, Rockfish, Cod, and whatever else is biting. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Kids are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Child-sized life vests are available. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Nate runs a 32' North River pilothouse with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Nate will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Most of your fishing will be done with highly effective artificials.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Fishing licenses are not included but can be purchased easily online.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), waterproof shoes, rain gear, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Sound to Summit Alaska Adventures!

Nate and Max were awesome! They really took care of my 14 year old grandson and made it a trip of a lifetime. He can’t stop talking about it. They helped him and showed him what to do. As a result he caught the biggest halibut and the most fish. My son in law doesn’t fish much but they also helped him and he really enjoyed the trip. We caught more than enough fish and were done early. The fish were all cleaned by the time we got to shore. They weren’t done yet. The took our fish to the processing plant and made sure everything was taken care of before they left. Excellent experience! Thanks Nate and Max! You went above and beyond!
Honestly we caught masses of fish. We got a charter me & my friend. We caught bag limits on rockfish (2 yellow eye), salmon. We caught 14 cod after putting small ones back. We caught a 60lb halibut we had to release because it was a Wednesday. In the end we were reeling in so many cod we werent even sure we could transport it. Absolutely excellent trip.
Nate and Max are a hreat team that took awesome care of us. One of our group missed the whittier exit and ended up being an hour late, but they adjusted and got us on the fish quick once he made it in to town. we caught a bunch of flounder throughout the day, but managed two ice chests full of fillets of halibut, rockfish, and lingcod by the time we called it. and that was with people falling out throughout the day from tired arms! We will be back with them again in the future, and highly suggest them to others!

Captain Nate and Max, knows how to make make t happen with about full of rookies. Non stop action from Halibut, salmon , to Rockfish. Every stop was on fire with fish. Great knowledge of area and was blast. Everyone said it was their best trip ever.

Our fishing trip with Nate and Jake from Sound to Summit was amazing, we caught a lot of fish, and the guides were truly among the best in the business. Thanks to their incredible expertise, we had a wildly successful day on the water and landed four different species: halibut, cod, salmon, and beautiful yelloweyes. Highly recommend these guys if you want to fill the freezer and catch quality fish!
