Sound to Summit Alaska Adventures 

Nate and Max were awesome! They really took care of my 14 year old grandson and made it a trip of a lifetime. He can’t stop talking about it. They helped him and showed him what to do. As a result he caught the biggest halibut and the most fish. My son in law doesn’t fish much but they also helped him and he really enjoyed the trip. We caught more than enough fish and were done early. The fish were all cleaned by the time we got to shore.They weren’t done yet. The took our fish to the processing plant and made sure everything was taken care of before they left. Excellent experience! Thanks Nate and Max! You went above and beyond!

Honestly we caught masses of fish. We got a charter me & my friend. We caught bag limits on rockfish (2 yellow eye), salmon. We caught 14 cod after putting small ones back. We caught a 60lb halibut we had to release because it was a Wednesday. In the end we were reeling in so many cod we werent even sure we could transport it. Absolutely excellent trip.

Nate and Max are a hreat team that took awesome care of us. One of our group missed the whittier exit and ended up being an hour late, but they adjusted and got us on the fish quick once he made it in to town. we caught a bunch of flounder throughout the day, but managed two ice chests full of fillets of halibut, rockfish, and lingcod by the time we called it. and that was with people falling out throughout the day from tired arms! We will be back with them again in the future, and highly suggest them to others!

Our fishing trip with Nate and Jake from Sound to Summit was amazing, we caught a lot of fish, and the guides were truly among the best in the business. Thanks to their incredible expertise, we had a wildly successful day on the water and landed four different species: halibut, cod, salmon, and beautiful yelloweyes. Highly recommend these guys if you want to fill the freezer and catch quality fish!

capt Nate and his brother Nate were incredible they were super personable and taught us so much about Alaska we caught fish ALL DAY LONG from cod to halibut to rockfish. everytime the bites seemed to slow down, we’d move to another spot close by and start hooking fish shortly after these guys know how to find em! enjoy and highly recommend

Booked a 12 hour charter but we chose to cut it 2 hours short because of the volume of fish caught. Capt. Nate and first mate Max were very professional and knowledgeable. Caught all of the species we signed up for and a few more. We also enjoyed seeing eagles, whales and porpoises. I would not hesitate to book another trip with them.

Captain Nate and his brother Jake work extremely hard to hook you onto fish. They were very accommodating and wanting to please us in every way. The boat was extremely clean. Caught a wide variety of fish and plenty of it! Would highly recommend and hope to come back again. Thank you for the experience. My wife wanted me to say…”Girls rule!” P.S. The smoked salmon dip served was to die for.

Nate and Jake were both absolutely amazing guides. They were both professional and ran a really top notch operation. We got into the fish and caught a total of 9 different species! We came home with about 120 lbs of meat that included Halibut, Yellow-eyed Rockfish, Cod, and Silver Salmon. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
