Captain and equipment were superb, and he did everything possible to put us on the fish on multiple sites on the bay and up the canal towards the intercostal. Unfortunately it was not a good day to fish and our catch was meager at best. As experienced anglers, we know this can happen anytime and should not reflect adversely on a talented, experienced captain. We asked him to give us an orientation on the bay, and he did that in spades pointing out lots of places to try on our own, both on the bay, mouth to the gulf and the canal. We’d go with him again in a heart beat.

The instructions on the booming was accurate and had everything we needed to get to the trip and know what to expect. Our family too three teenagers and they had a blast. Captain Mason kept the kids moving with fish they could handle and moved around to find what we were looking for. While the kids were busy catching smaller catches Captain Mason helped the adults catch as much as we could. we caught red snapper, grouper & mahi mahi! Captain Mason was great conversation and did what he could to make sure we had a great trip. Would highly recommend.

The afternoon started slow but Mason put us on the fish! Multiple groups taday came in talking about how slow the bite was, not for us! we caught our limit, and a ton more. 27 Reds is less than 4 hours. Mason chased the schools through the flats and we wore em out. most of the fish we had to throw back because they were to big! WTF right? I will see Captain Mason again, he knows these waters very well....Fyi, just dont be like my son and say your tired!! bring your big boy shorts and be ready to catch some fish.

Only days after Hurricane Isaias we were supposed to go on an inshore trip, but Captain Mason suggested we push it back a couple of days and do a near shore trip instead. On our first stop we were on the red snapper, caught our limit, and continued to catch fish the rest of the trip. It was a great 4 hours! I highly recommend it!

Oh, what a day on the water! 🎣 I’m about as beginner as it gets when it comes to fishing, but Captain Mason had my husband and I pulling in non-stop action! Between the two of us, we landed Lizardfish, Catfish, Ladyfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, plenty of Redfish, and yes... even SHARKS! 🦈 Captain Mason put together the absolute perfect vacation experience for us.
