Rest assured your group will be comfortable aboard regardless of weather, in our fully enclosed, heated cabin, interior and exterior seating, restroom and spacious open air deck. Powered by twin Suzuki 175hp outboards, you will not be disappointed by the power, technology, safety and comfort this ship provides anglers and guests alike.
With only top of the line fishing equipment on every trip (new reef rods, Islander MR3 reels, Speedmaster 2 Halibut reels, premium tackle, fresh bait) you will be fully equiped to hook and confidently land your fish of a lifetime.
After the trip, once you arrive back at the dock your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you and ready to take home.

Full Day Trip – Multi Species
Great Salmon Fishing, Highly Respects the Wildlife
Fishing with Capt Andrew and his deck hand Cam was great. they’re a really friendly duo and very knowledgeable and easy people to click with. as for the salmon fishing it was great trolling around and spotting whales while hooking into some good fish. and they fillet the fish really well. the bathroom and all the equipment on the boat was a huge plus and it was very nice of them asking for your own personal song suggestions for the sound system as well. they really try to care for your comfort and well being as well. if you’re getting sea sick they got lots of water and electrolytes on hand for you and they always like to ask if the temp in the cabin if warm enough for you. me and my family had a blast. wish the halibut were biting that day but that’s not on them it’s on the fish lol. glad the salmon fishing was good and consistent. they really do respect the wildlife and regulations here as i had some shady charters in the past. will definitely come back again and highly recommend them. and a huge plus is that on the private dock there’s a local seal family that love to visit

Excellent Time! Great Crew! Great Fish... Will be back!
We had such a great time with Captain Andrew and deck hand Cam! They treated us to a wonderful quick 2 hour trip where we caught 6 Salmon and brought home 4 decent sized crab as well! They were so nice and helped all of the novice anglers on the boat do their best to catch a fish! Don't book with them if you want to have a crappy time and not catch fish. But if you are looking for a great time and catching fish, then I 110% recommend booking with them!

Half day fish with captain Andrew
Booked a half day trip with king tide charters, with captain Andrew. The trip started off by seeing seals basking in the sun on the dock then we loaded up and left the basin. It started off fairly breezy but the knowledge of area was great by the captain we found a nice quiet calm bay and started fishing. Right away we were on the fish! It was such a great experience from captain Andrew showing the nature and wildlife to the comfort of the boat. Definitely would recommend and I will def be back!!

Captain Andrew was part guide/part ambassador for Sooke. We learned a lot about various local landmarks, while getting into FISH immediately! Boat was great and it handled well in even rough swells. Looking to bring home fish and be treated with respect, do not hesitate to book with King Tide Charters.

Incredible day!
Captain Andrew and his boat were fantastic. The boat was comfortable, powerful and felt very safe. The captain was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and patient with our inexperience on the water. All 5 of us got our turns with fighting mighty chinooks. The equipment on board was top of the line and I can’t say enough good things about this trip! If you’re reading this just stop and book with Captain Andrew you won’t regret it.
