King Tide Charters – 28' Northwest 

We were a crew of 8 with limited experience fishing in the ocean and booked the dusk bite. Could not recommend this trip enough we had a complete blast. Cam was amazing and perfect for our group. He was funny, respectful, and very very knowledgable. Our crew caught 5 good sized Chinook Salmon, 4 keeper sized Crabs, and even saw a Humpback Whale. Everyone in the group caught a fish. This was so special and we will be booking again in the future. Thanks again to Cam for the amazing experience!

Our family had the best day on our charter. All 8 of us caught multiple fish of many different species, and Captain Andrew helped instill what we believe will be a life long love of fishing in our kiddos, along with a deep respect for wildlife and the ocean. So much fun jigging and trolling, we will definitely be back for more fishing 🎣!!!

Had an amazing day out on the water with Captain Andrew! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and knows exactly where to find the fish. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. The 28 ft Northwest was very comfortable for our group of 6. Highly recommend booking with him if you’re looking for a fishing trip in Sooke.

Captain Andrew was beyond amazing. He taught us a lot and we caught so many fish- well more than we ever expected (24 in total over 8 hours). We were 4 adults and 3 kids- lots of room for us all. We just had the best time and can not recommend Andrew enough. We promise you will not be disappointed!!

Just a big thanks to Andrew at King Tide for showing these rookies what to do. We had a blast. Caught some fish and it was pretty much action packed for three hours.. I reccomend Andrew at King Tide to anyone wanting to get out and fish these waters. We’ll be back for sure!

A great charter with some awesome action on the rods. Captain Andrew along with King Tide Charters made it a memorable eperience, with professionalism and fun. also included our 3 year old in some fishing tasks to be part.of the adventure. Highly recommend.

cant say enough about this charter. Cam was great…the trip started off slow but Cam was reletless to find is the right spot where the fish were biting. We came away with our limit of Salmon and Lingcod, couldnt have asked for more

Excellent skipper and guide. Knowledgeable, skilful and attentive to our group. Landed multiple coho and several good size chinook. Nothing we could keep unfortunately but the fishing was really steady.

Our family of 7 adults booked this charter as part of my husband’s 50th birthday celebration, and it gave us a day we will always remember, with it being our first time fishing on the coast. We had a great time on the water with Captain Steven, caught a few beautiful salmon, including two keepers, numerous rockfish, and one crab, and really appreciated the effort that went into helping us make the day special. The boat was very comfortable and spacious for our group. We all got to reel something in! Like any fishing trip, not everything went perfectly but Andrew was professional and receptive when we shared feedback afterward. He acknowledged our concerns and genuinely wanted to make things right. Overall, we’re grateful for the experience, the memories, and the care shown during and after the trip. We would recommend this charter .

Captain Andrew and Captain Shane were amazing.. very knowledgeable and great with little ones! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Sooke <3 My 6 year old son hasnt stopped doing the fish dance since our trip!! Next time we swing by we will have an upgraded fish dance for the trip! Xx ~
