Captain Andrew Black is a great Charter Captain—————- I booked 2 half day trips with him back to back fishing for King salmon and Coho salmon

The dates were September the 9th and the 10th 2025————- we were into a lot of salmon on both days catching many salmon the first day and almost doubling that on the second day, it was great fun and Captain Andrew knows what he’s doing and has 1st class rods and reels and equipment

His present boat is a 28 foot North River pilot house and it’s an awesome fishing machine with heat to keep you warm on those chilly days——————he also has a flush toilet on load which is a blessing

Cannot recommend Captain Andrew and King Tide highly enough! The boat was immaculate and comfortable, with more than enough room for all of us.

Andrew took us through the basics and got us underway into the salmon freeway in no flat. We had our first Pink Salmon on the deck in under 10 minutes of putting the lines in the water and we just kept hooking them from there!

We had an incredible fishing trip this past weekend with King Tide Charters. From start to finish, Captain Cam were professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. We landed a beautiful, good-sized Chinook salmon and enjoyed some productive bottom fishing as well.

Fishing with Capt Andrew and his deck hand Cam was great. they’re a really friendly duo and very knowledgeable and easy people to click with. as for the salmon fishing it was great trolling around and spotting whales while hooking into some good fish. and they fillet the fish really well. the bathroom and all the equipment on the boat was a huge plus and it was very nice of them asking for your own personal song suggestions for the sound system as well. they really try to care for your comfort and well being as well. if you’re getting sea sick they got lots of water and electrolytes on hand for you and they always like to ask if the temp in the cabin if warm enough for you. me and my family had a blast. wish the halibut were biting that day but that’s not on them it’s on the fish lol. glad the salmon fishing was good and consistent. they really do respect the wildlife and regulations here as i had some shady charters in the past. will definitely come back again and highly recommend them. and a huge plus is that on the private dock there’s a local seal family that love to visit
