Make some memories in La Paz and go fishing with Salty Baja Sportfishing!.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Almaco Jack, Black Marlin, African Pompano Jack, Cubera Snapper, Sailfish, Striped Marlin, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Carlos also offers kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going!
Your vessel for the day is a 31' Bertram sportfishing vessel with capacity for 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Salty Baja Sportfishing!.
