MC Yachts Company
Spend the day with MC Yachts Company and get hooked on fishing in La Paz!
You're likely to go after Amberjack, Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, and more.
You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Carlos Antonio also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks – luckily, Capt. Carlos Antonio will have some on board!
You'll step aboard a 43' Convertible that can carry up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10-20% to show your appreciation.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
