Mackinaw Lake Trout, Kokanee Salmon(Jul-Sep), Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. During the trip you might be trolling, jigging, and mooching.
Your adventure begins aboard a 35’ Seahawk sportfishing vessel with space for 8 to 10 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
All trips are Captained and for groups of 5 or more will have a First Mate on board to help the Captain with making your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the crew 15–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip of which both a CA or NV license will work on Lake Tahoe and we sell day licenses at our our office.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray). We provide water and coffee in the morning and water on the afternoon trips but you are welcome to bring food and other beverages on board with you. Just no Bananas.

Incredible Day! 10/10, Can't Recommend Enough!

This was my sons' (7 & 10 yo) first fishing experience and I could not be more satisfied with the experience! From start to finish, everything was great. Prior to our trip, there was great communication from the office to make sure we were prepared for the trip beforehand. The charter was on time (both departure and arrival), the captain (Zach) and his deckhand (Nate) were polite, knowledgeable, prepared and treated all of us great - really made sure our boys had a great experience. They knew where the fishing was unsuccessful recently and took us straight to where we had the best chance to catch something - the two groups on the boat caught a dozen or so fish combined. Nate cleaned the fish right on-board and Zach gave us the best recommendation - to take our catch to MacDuff's down the street and have them cook it up for us! Could not recommend both Tahoe Sport Fishing and MacDuff's Pub enough. The entire day exceeded expectations - it's a day our family will never forget! Thank you so much to the whole crew!

The trip was fantastic! Captain Sammy and his helper (sorry forgot his name, not that he wouldn't be memorable! were awesome. They were professional as well as friendly and extremely helpful!

Our trip was great, captain Sammy was professional, yet friendly and so helpful! The boat was kept clean the entire time. We caught 8 fish between the 5 of us! The crew definitely know what they are doing! We would definitely recommend Fishing Booker to everyone! Thank you for the great time!

Had a really good time. The captain and captains crew did a really good job making sure that everyone was aware when they had fish on and showed us how to use the fishing gear. As well as taking care of a fish after we were done catching our limit and I would suggest anyone who wants to have a good time catching fish to give it a try.
