Salted Hook Fishing Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of Lake Lanier
With Captain Nick at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Striped Bass, Spotted Bass, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Alligator Gar, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Nick will bring you aboard a 24’ Carolina Skiff that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
