ProWest Fishing LLC – Strawberry Reservoir 

Make the most of your time in Utah and go fishing with ProWest Fishing at Strawberry Reservoir. Captain Weston has fished it for over 25 years.

Depending on the time of year, we will either be taking out the boat or snowmobiles on the ice.
If ice conditions are unsafe and we cannot do either, you have the options to change to a different reservoir nearby, postpone or cancel the trip.

Strawberry Reservoir is located in a valley tucked in the mountains at 7600ft of elevation. It is around 40 minutes from Heber City, and around an hour from Park City. Strawberry Reservoir offers one of the best trout fisheries in Utah. You are most likely to catch Bear Lake Cutthroat trout and Rainbow Trout. But it is possible to catch Kokanee Salmon (landlocked Sockeye). You will target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging and or bait fishing.

Kids are absolutely welcome! We also have life jacket sizes for all ages.

Your boat for the day is a 16’ Aluminum pro-V Guide Tracker that holds up to 3 passengers. It has downriggers, rods, reels and all the essentials.

For Ice fishing we are equipt with three snowmobiles, a 6 person heated ice tent, underwater camera and fish finders.

It is required to have a local fishing license for everyone that will be fishing. You are responsible for your own winter clothing, but i do have a few extra pairs of snowpants, gloves, hats, etc. Please let me know if you need anything or have questions before the trip.

Don’t forget to bring any essentials, sunblock, sunglasses, drinks, food and snacks. Alcohol is not allowed. Also dress warm! Temperatures can vary between below freezing to below zero in the winter. There is also a waiver required to be signed that you understand risks involved.
