HCR Offshore Adventures 

Captain Bob's, First mate Matt and Mr Ray were awesome! Trip was affected to some last minute weather, but Captain and his crew still made the trip worthwhile and great experience. The whole crew knew the spots/ locations for what we tried to target and made the entire experience as best as possible. Definitely recommend to anyone seeking a chartered trip with an amazing knowledgeable crew! Absolutely going to setup another trip with these guys at HCR

great fishing, weather didn’t cooperate the second day , but the captain and first mate were great.

Captain Travis and first mate Matt did a great job of putting me and my two sons on some good sized red snapper. I couldn’t have been more happy at the way the guys treated me and my family. They were great with my kids and helped every step of the way. We immediately were on fish at the first location, and after that - the second location was even better! We caught our limit of red snapper along with other fish such as barracuda, shark, and dog snapper. I would highly recommend this charter and we will be seeing Captain Travis again in the future.

Based on other boats we've chartered before, I would have to decline for several reasons. 1. They were being stingy with the bait. The first 1hr or so, we fished in the shallows using baitbite and shrimp. They started off using both but then only used shrimp when asked. For example, I had 1 piece of baitbite and 1/2 shrimp on my 1st cast and after that no more shrimp. They had pounds of shrimp dead and alive 2. at the 1st location, we caught a lot of sand trout and whiting. We were told we would use them to catch bigger fish at the next local. we spent 1.5 hours fishing for our own bait, which we could have bought or more importantly spent time catching fish we could keep. When we asked about the bait fish we spent time catching, they told us we couldn't keep them because they were going to use them for the next group of fisherman tomorrow. So we were used to help them get bait for another fishng group. 3. They were penny pinching. The boat was equiped with a bathroom but they only wanted the ladies to use it cause they didn't want to dump the tank. They didn't want to turn the pump on to use the water (again to conserve) so my brother had to hold his 9yr old over the side of the boat to rinse his hands. Unsafe. 4. The main reason we won't book again is the lack of fishing. When we went to the next spot for the bigger fish, we did absolutley nothing. They baited the line, cast it and set it up. There were 6 of us and they only cast 3 lines. When a line jerked, they tested it, felt the bite, reeled in some, then gave it to one of us to reel it in. only 4 of us, got to reel in a fish. I felt robbed of the experience of casting my line, feeling the bite, cursing when they ran off with my bait or high-fiving when the fish finally surfaced. I came home smelling like saltwater and not fish (what was the point) This would be a great trip if you've never fished a day in your life, beginner 101. All 6 of us including the 2 kids were experienced fisherman, 30+ years each for the adults. The reason we book the charters is to FISH and there was very little of that. While the boat was new, clean and pretty, I got the sense that the Captain and deck were told to conserve as much as possible but I did not appreciate having 1.5 hrs or our 6 hr trip being used to secure bait for another client, especially when our 6 hours included next to no actual fishing.

We had an absolute blast with Captain Travis and Bob on our first time jetty fishing experiance. I would recommend these wonderful guys to all first timers and seasoned anglers. They went above and beyond making this fishing trip a great experiance. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and great company to fish with. Will absolutely be making future trips with these guys. Thank yall for the wonderful 1st time experiance. We had a blast.

Bob’s boat is amazing! Went out with he and Travis and had a great time. We had to battle thunderstorms and struggled for a bit because of that but they stick with us and made sure we not only caught out snapper but that we all were having a good time.

The capt was knowledgeable, the boat was nice with a bathroom and plenty sitting. We did not catch as much as we would have liked too but the crew and capt kept bait on our lines and helped us cast if needed.. thank you for a the fun day

We had an amazing trip on the boat ! We caught a lot of fish, they explained and showed us the fishing techniques well! They cleaned and bagged the fish ! I will book a trip with them again! I recommend

Both captain and first mate were excellent. They had great customer service. They made fishing very easy always made sure we had what we needed when fishing and let us do the actual fishing. I would recommend for anyone who has never charted because they have alot of patience as it was a new experience for some of us in our group and when we made a mistakes they were very quick to help and fix the issue and got us back to fishing! They really do care about getting you fish and making sure you have a great time doing it!
