Around here it's common to catch Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Seabass, Fluke, Scup (Porgy), Winter flounde, Weakfish, Tautog, then if we head out father we can catch Thresher Shark, Tuna and more, depending on what trip you would like to book. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Fishing and Nature is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 38' Viking sportfishing that can carry up to 6 passengers for fishing trips. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. The owner will provide rods and reels, along with lures and a fantastic Captain.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled waters are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles,
( No bananas on board !!! NO glass bottles, NO work boots !! )

Bluefish Trip on August 19, 2025 • 3 adultsTook a six hour trip on Reel Dreams with Captain Reese. Had a great time. First, the boat is very comfortable, has ann inside seating area with a couple of couches where my fishing mates were able to sleep for a good bit. Also has a full refrigerator and a very usable toilet. The captain supplied all of the Bait and rigging, and did a great job setting things up for me. Caught a lot of porgy, black Seabass, and dogfish. Unfortunately, the blues weren’t biting today. But he made up with it by finding some good fishing spots and catching a lot of fish. He also does shark and Tuna trips and that might be our next trip.

Striper and Blue fish trip !! 2026 on July 25, 2026 • 6 adultsUnfortunately, my experience wasn't the best—I didn't catch any fish—though the trip itself was okay. I think the captain lacked planning; he stopped to refuel the boat at the start of the trip, and we lost 30 minutes because the station was closed. The same thing happened at the end of the trip—we stopped to refuel again. The boat and the equipment are good, though.

5 Hour bottom fishing trip 2026 on July 10, 2026 • 6 adultsWe booked a half day fishing trip hoping for a great day on the water, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Over the course of 4 hours, we only caught 4 fish partly because the captain took us to very poor locations. To make matters worse, the gear provided was incredibly low quality. The reels were constantly tangling, which ruined our fishing time. When one of the cheap reels completely failed under completely normal operation, the captain actually had the audacity to demand money from us to replace it. On top of that, the captain was irritable and unpleasant to be around almost the entire time. Save your money and book with someone else who uses proper gear and actually wants you to have a good experience.

Thank you so much can’t wait to have you guys out again and yes, I need to order some Meta glasses that would be fantastic to get some good videos and photos of everyone fishing. It’s definitely a little hard when your hands are slimy touching the phone lol hope you have a great trip back home and have a fantastic day tomorrow at Mystic aquarium. Enjoy again. It was a pleasure having you guys out on the boat. Can’t wait to have you again.!!!
