Captain Anthony took my wife and I out for her first ocean fishing excursion and Catchin Reels Charter did not disappoint! Capt. Anthony was personable, accommodating, and offered great insight during the trip! I’m not sure how many fish were caught but I know my wife was able to complete a dream come true of catching a shark! We had a wonderful time and not only do we recommend Catchin’ Reels, but we plan to bring our kids down on another charter with Capt. Anthony in the future!

We recently completed an awesome evening/night charter with Captain Anthony.  Captain Anthony was very flexible and accommodated our request to start the charter a little earlier. He also was a great teacher and patient with my two boys (ages 11 and 14) and ensured they were constantly hooked up with fish while also educating them about these waters, species we caught, and how to hook and land what we were going after.  We caught a lot of fish - too many to count, after fishing in several different spots.  Species we caught included red snapper, blue runner, grouper, jack crevalle (we caught a ton of these), moonfish, grunt, and even hooked up to what likely were two tarpon but were unable to land (but was exciting to even hook them!).  Captain Anthony is knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, communicated well and was a pleasure to spend 5 hours with on the water.  If we are back in Miami again I would not hesitate to book with him again for another fun charter!

We had the absolute best time with Reel’n Tails Charters and Captain Anthony! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our trip incredible. Not only did he put us right on top of some amazing fish, but he also took care of everything—from setting us up to reeling them in. His knowledge of the best fishing spots was spot on, and the scenery was breathtaking.

At the end of the trip, Anthony even cleaned our catch, making the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. His passion for fishing and dedication to his guests truly set this charter apart. If you ever get the chance, book a night trip—it’s a whole new level of cool!

Thursday night, we were just sitting around in our Airbnb when we suddenly got a huge urge to go fishing. Anthony was the first one to respond—and luckily for us, he just had a cancellation! We ended up heading out for a 5-hour night fishing trip.

Anthony put us on a ton of species and we had an absolute blast! Out of the three charters we did this week, this one was hands down the best fishing experience. He’s a super eccentric guy with tons of knowledge and knows exactly how to make it a great time on the water. Definitely going with him again next time I’m in Miami!

My son and his buddy have been dreaming and talking about fishing in Florida for a long time. Anthony has made their dreams come true. He was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure the boys had a great time. I think they will talk about this night fishing in Miami for the rest of their lives. They hooked bunch of fish including giant tarpons.
