My wife and I booked a trip last minute. Anthony accommodated us even though he didn’t have too. Not only that he brought us coffee and pastries. His attitude, personality and customer service would have made the trip memorable without catching fish. But we absolutely killed it. We went to one spot and caught one fish after another for 2 and a half hours it was non stop action. We caught several species of fish and never stopped until the tide shifted and it slowed. He was ready for more and we were exhausted. Thanks Anthony you are a really diamond. WE will be back.

Searching for a charter is truly aggravating and time consuming. Once we “landed” on Captain Darna, “Anthony”, I knew he was the one! Honest, professional and knowledgable of the waters in and around Miami, we truly had a blast! Caught approx a couple dozen fish, 6 different species, and thats not a fish story. Highly recommend Captain Darna, and he will accomadate your needs. Just tell him what you want and he will move mountains or reefs or whatever to make your trip memorable. He may not know this, but he is now FAMILY!

We chose the 2-hour sunset cruise trip and had the best time ever. Anthony was flexible with us and ensured that we got to see the sunset, even though it was earlier than original booked. He had all the bait, reels and vibes ready to go, all we had to do was show up! On the way he even became a photographer and a DJ for me and my girl. Given our time limit he made sure we maximized our fishing. He clearly knows what hes talking about and the best spots to go to, especially if you are wanting to target a certain species. We were hooked up on fish almost every single cast it was a night full of action, with the city lights as our backdrop. We weren’t initially targeting sharks, but Anthony suggested that we throw a line out after we caught good “shark bait”. Then we caught not ONE but TWO sharks and BOY did they put up a fight!!! Anthony coached us through it the whole way until we got the shark to the boat, then we all helped land it. He was very respectful of the animals and made sure we were quick about handling and releasing them back into the water safely. Five stars simply isn’t enough, we could not reccomend Anthony more! If you ever want to have a real fishing experience this is the place for you.

Anthony created an incredible experience for my whole family, starting first with the meeting point.  I didn’t realize that our hotel was an hour away from his normal advertised meeting point.  He quickly offered to meet me at a Marina about 25 min away, even though it was further from him. 

Anthony’s boat was clean and organized, I could tell write away he takes pride in his work.  He was great with my son Rowen, who loves fishing and was super excited.  My 12yr old daughter was initially not excited to go fishing for 4 hours, but after she caught exactly 12 fish (she was keeping very strict count), she told me several times how much fun she had and she thanked me for booking with Anthony.

When we come back to Miami, we will book with Anthony and he will take us off shore fishing.  This trip was inshore, which was great since I didn’t want to get too crazy… This was my 11yr son’s first time on a boat and we were able to keep things manageable, while still catching lots of cool fish.

Oh, and I had fun too.  I caught a 25lb Tarpon.  :)

the boat, the scenery, the fishing all of it was incredible, it was easily the best time i’ve had fishing, and the action was non stop, from when we got to the spot to when we left it was just fish after fish, I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to go on a charter in Miami, the captain was also amazing, he had so much knowledge about the spots, the fishing, and everything else that I had no idea about. Was also very helpful on the boat with putting bait on, and overall just made the experience even better than it already was. Will be looking forward to next time!
