Looking to catch some fish in Seattle? TwinJCharters is your ticket! Your guide for the day is Captain Jerome, giving you access to years of local experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Salmon, Lingcod, Crab, Halibut, Flounder, Shrimp, and plenty more. You can expect to do some trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Jerome believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll step aboard a 25' Defiance pilothouse with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

An Exemplary Charter Experience
Evening 4 Hour on August 11, 2025 • 2 adults
We can't say enough about Captain Jerome Jefferson's patience, professionalism, amiability and obvious expertise after a 4 hour salmon fishing excursion on Puget Sound. Despite tricky conditions (winds gusting past 20 kph!) our questions were fielded with humor, kindness and real concern that all of his 20+ years of experience brought to bear. Another party on our boat brought his five-year old son and again despite tricky conditions the 5-year old's curiosity was welcomed by Captain Jerome. The bottom line: a wonderful experience from alpha to omega and one we would be overjoyed to repeat on future visits to Seattle. That we caught a bunch of beautiful salmon is almost an afterthought - that's how enjoyable our experience was.

This was the first fishing charter I’ve booked. Captain Jerome Jefferson made it easy, fun, and of course, memorable. Captain Jerome has great knowledge of the area, the waters, and how to catch fish. We limited out within a few hours, learned a lot about the craft, and even got some good fishing tips for flank fishing the PNW. Captain Jerome was great, and has an absolutely contagious laugh. We’ll definitely be booking him again.

Jerome provided an outstanding fishing experience! He was incredibly professional, had state-of-the-art equipment, and was completely open and honest about expectations for the day. He arrived on time (had the boat ready to go before we even got there), expertly baited and unhooked every fish so we could focus on catching as many as possible, and his deep knowledge of the area made all the difference. He knew exactly where to go for the best chances, adjusted to conditions seamlessly, and made the whole experience stress-free and fun. On top of that, he was friendly, patient, and made sure everyone had a great time. He’s definitely our go-to fishing guide whenever we’re in Seattle and the surrounding areas! Highly recommend!

Fantastic day on the water!

Captain Jerome made our trip and knows how to find the fish! Highly skilled, quality gear, comfortable boat. Prior to heading out gave us a run through on what to expect and type/amount/size of fish that can be kept. Had immediate action and three double hookups on salmon. Landed 2 quality Chinook close to 10# and many others small but fun fighters. 3 hours of almost non stop action... it was insane! Even Captain Jerome was surprised on how active the fish were. Kept one, fileted and bagged up for us. Thanks Captain I can't wait to fish with you again!!

Amazing day fishing

New to the area and found an Amazing C Captain with tons of local knowledge and a passion to fish! Great personality and equipment. Put us on the fish immediately!!
Could have been luck but I feel he knew the area well and fished hard the entire trip!
He was stoked at out huge Coho more than we even were! That’s. Fishermen!
Highly recommend him!! He is great with kids and enjoys the moment!
