Looking to catch some fish in Seattle? TwinJCharters is your ticket! Your guide for the day is Captain Jerome, giving you access to years of local experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Salmon, Lingcod, Crab, Halibut, Flounder, Shrimp, and plenty more. You can expect to do some trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Jerome believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll step aboard a 25' Defiance pilothouse with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials that no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it to find out whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day can be provided by the Captain for $13 per person, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation; just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Salmon/Crab on August 22, 2026 • 4 adultsMy friends and I go fishing every year with a boat from this web sight. For the past few years we have gone with Twin J charters and have never once been disappointed with our experience. This year we booked the dual crab/salmon trip and even though it was a wild weather day on the water we had a blast! We reeled in a bunch, tossed a few back and lost a few, but we still walked away with 3 nice size Coho salmon. I even caught a shark, but he was released to see another day, lol. The crab pots were dropped aways from our salmon fishing waters, but the ride to and fro was a blast. What I liked about the crab experience was the interaction with the captain Jerome while learning to pull pots. The first was empty and we all got quiet trying to figure out why. The second had rock crab, but nothing we could keep. I said the 3rd and 4th will be our mother load and we were not disappointed! We boated away with 7 Dungeness crab! The sun finally broke through the clouds on our way back to the dock which made for a lovely time on the water. At the dock Captain Jerome took pictures of us with our catch and then cleaned the fish and bagged everything up. Once again Twin J charters did not disappoint! We have already made plans for next years adventure and I may even get the chance to help bait the pots!!! All in all If you don't mind an amazing day on the water, sea water on the face, wind rustling your hair, sore arms from reeling the big one and a little blood on the pants (possibly) from your catch hitting the deck then Twin J charters is your next amazing adventure.

All catch & release for us, though he demonstrated amzing knife skills. Had lots of knowledge of the local area and fish, you can tell his heart is in it and he wants people to have a good time. highly recommend.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Simply, an excellent day. We caught our first salmon within two minutes and all of us caught our limit within two hours. We highly recommend Jerome and look forward to hooking up with him next summer…and possibly this winter on the river.

Captain Jerome was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. It was a slow day for every boat on the water, but thanks to his experience, we still caught salmon, crab, flounder, and rockfish. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water.
Such a great trip. Caught a ton of fish. Captain Jerome was awesome! Not sure how many salmon were caught, but it was a lot. Captain was super great with my 12 yo son as well. Great for families, but would be great taking anyone tbh. Make sure to take appropriate clothing and food, but book captain Jerome if you’re in the area!
