If you're ready to get hooked on fishing in Playa Flamingo, book a trip with Blackfin Sportfishing.
These waters hold game fish like Pacific Barracuda, Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Almaco Jack, Goliath Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Skipjack Tuna, Broomtail Grouper, and more, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take home. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. How's that for fresh seafood?
Your trip begins aboard a 27' center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

We had a great time during the charter, the captain got us on a blackfin tuna & spanish mack. We also got to dive to cool off once we finished trolling & casting. Definitely recommend doing a full day if you are going after bigger fish but overall had a great time!

We had an amazing experience fishing! Caught five tuna and two mackerel. The captain had ample beverages, sliced us up a pineapple, and even sliced some sashimi from one of the mackerel we caught to eat for lunch. Couldn't have asked for a better outing!
Captain and first mate were so kind and awesome! We had a wonderful time on the water and caught some great fish, too! I highly recommend them for a fun outing!
Captain Luis is top notch. He's a local that knows the waters like the back of his hand. We had a fantastic day, saw a lot of marine life and he put us on the fish with multiple catches. 10/10 would highly recommend.

thanks..!
