These waters hold game fish like Pacific Barracuda, Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Almaco Jack, Goliath Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Skipjack Tuna, Broomtail Grouper, and more, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take home. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. How's that for fresh seafood?
Your trip begins aboard a 27' center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

Didn't get skunked
Pick up is not your typical boat marina, as you board on the shore. Not a problem just FYI. Our captain Raul spoke enough English for us to understand each other and worked his tail off to get us on the big fish, but it just wasn't meant to be. We caught a few bait fish (Bonita) and my son brought in the only decent fish, an ocean far. Didn't even know there were far in the ocean. Other than that we got skunked. It happens. But, it wasn't for lack of effort. Raul took us to multiple spots and tried multiple tactics to get the fish, they just weren't having it. Next time I'm in CR I'll be back with these guys.

Our experience with Captain Raul was amazing. Not only did we catch fish but he took us snorkeling and showed us the diversity of marine life. When it came to driving the boat, he did an amazing job especially when we were starting to get caught in a big storm.

Great captain and unique experience
Raúl was great, skilled, and very entertaining. We were able to go fishing and snorkeling which was very cool. We hooked one really large fish that unfortunately got away bit we caught about 6 Bonita which was really fun. He even cut up fresh sashimi and prepared it with soy and wasabi which I have never seen a captain do before

Beautiful Day of Fishing.
Captain Luis is top notch. He's a local that knows the waters like the back of his hand. We had a fantastic day, saw a lot of marine life and he put us on the fish with multiple catches. 10/10 would highly recommend.

10/10 experience!
These guys are the real deal! Boat and equipment were in perfect condition. Our captain, Raúl, was simply phenomenal. A huge source of knowledge about the area and fishing. We did fish quite a lot of tunas that we later had for lunch and were awesome. Super grateful of having the chance to live this experience.
