Narragansett has a fish with your name on it, so let Great Run Fishing Charters help you catch it! With Captain Charlie at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Porbeagle Shark, Thresher Shark, Blue Shark, Flounder, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Tautog, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!
Your day begins aboard a 31' JC downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures and bait. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Great Run Fishing Charters!
