Southern Elite Charters
Welcome to Southern Elite Charters, located in Venice Louisana, which is the fishing capital of the world!
I am your captain, Jordan Roque, and i am lucky that this is my dream job and I love what I do. I have fished these waters my entire life and i work hard for my guest so that they can have the best fishing experience Venice has to offer. When you chose to fish with Southern Elite Charters, i am confident that you will be very happy with your decision.
Cobia, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your adventure begins aboard a 24' Blazer Bay boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
