Sea Skipper Fishing Charters – Watamu
If you're here to make the most of fishing in Watamu, look no further than Sea Skipper Fishing Charters.
Around here the fishing is popular for Mahi Mahi, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Giant Trevally, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, and more, depending on the time of year. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll find yourself aboard a 30' custom-made cuddy cabin with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Suheil has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Sea Skipper Fishing Charters!

Daughter Rikki is teaching in Kenya with the Peace Corps, so was on spring break and I came to visit her and give her some time away from her usual. We found Captain Suheil on Fishing Booker, he went out of his way to make our trip special. Early on three lines hit at once in a school of yellowfin. Rikki landed two of them, the third got off. Later I caught my first wahoo, which I'd been looking for. One of the coolest things was watching a marlin skate the surface spraying water from the bait ball. The crew was terrific, three men total, instead of the usual one in the States. That night the restaurant at our Airbnb/hotel ran out of fish, so we donated some to the guests in Kenya for a wedding. They ate well :-) and we've got plenty. Lol, donating fish steaks to tuk tuk drivers and folks along the way.
Thanks Alot Steve .....and hope to see the both of you once again for the marlin

We had a good trip booked for two days and caught mackerel, Bonita, dorado, wahoo and sailfish. We had two marlin strike but didn't manage to hook them. Small boat light tackle and great crew. great days had by all.
Thanks Steve ....hope to see you back again this time for the marlin
