Mr. Fireman's Fishing Charters
If you're going to cast a line in St. Simons Island, Jekyll island and Sapalo Island look no further than Mr. Fireman's Fishing Charters. With Captain Vashon at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, African Pompano Jack, Gag Grouper, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Almaco Jack, Redfish, Amberjack, Flounder, Cobia, and whatever else is biting. You can keep any Fish you catch within the legal limit. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Capt. Vashon operates a 26' NauticStar center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
KIndly be advised that customers will be held accountable for fishing rods and reels lost in the ocean, whether as a result of an accidental mishap or intentional act. A replacement fee of $300 shall be imposed.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

The Fireman is on 🔥 🔥 🔥!
Hooked A TON of huge Cobia! So much fun trying to land them before the GIANT 7-8 feet sharks we could see swimming around ate them first! Water was so clear we could see all the action below! Also saw a huge sea turtle. Now my 15-year-old can say not only did he catch his biggest fish ever, he had a 1000lb shark on the line! My little man also caught a bunch of Remoras and some Black Sea Bass! It was a bit slow at first but Vashon worked extremely hard finding the fish and literally went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time! Very knowledgeable and innovative 1st Mates as well! Overall great trip! Gave us all organisms (to eat)! 😉.

Booking was super easy. They responded super fast and answered all my questions. This was a first time for me and my friends we just wanted to have fun was the goal. Shawn and Devin were amazing and made sure we got some great fish. We will 100% be booking again and letting our friends know about them. We were able to catch so many fish that I was amazed the coolest was the barracuda and Cobra Jack. I want to thank them both for the great experience.

Mr. Fireman’s Charter is one of the better charter fishing trips I’ve been on, and I’ve been on many! They had us on fish within a few minutes of our line hitting the water! Fantastic charer
Caught around 70-90 fish, great captain and good first mate. Hooked into some nice fish and was an all around great time for beginners and experienced anglers. Would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a great charter.
