These waters are home to Redfish, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and more, depending on the time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your boat for the day is a 23' Sportsman 232 center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our family (kids ages 10 and 5) had such a wonderful time out on the boat thanks to Tristin. From the moment we stepped on board, he made the entire experience fun, safe, relaxed, and memorable. The kids were thrilled — they caught a bunch of little fish and were smiling nonstop. It turned into one of those perfect bonding moments that we’ll talk about for years. What really set Tristin apart was how thoughtful and engaging he was with the kids. He even let our little girl “drive” the boat, which absolutely made her day. His patience, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm created an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and excited. We highly recommend booking with Tristin. He turned a simple outing into an unforgettable family experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We booked a custome 4 hour cruise, and the weather turned bad the day before we were scheduled to go out (tropical storm Arthur) and Capt. Tristan was great at communicating and letting us know the day of out cruise that the weather was not safe be on the boat, and worked diligently to reschdule for the next day. We had great weather, and a great time on the boat. We fished, saw dolphin, and swam a bit at an island. After 3 days of clouds, rain and wind, this outing was just what we needed to reclaim our vacation vibe for the remainder of the time we are i. Gulf Shores. Highly recommend booking with Capt. Tristan was awesome! This trip was so refreshing for me to get my sons and I together while Tristan was amazing either boys ! We caught a variety of fish including white trout, king fish ,reds and grouper. Not to mention a few saltwater catfish that added the boys a little extra reeling in fish . For the price it can’t be beat I mean atleast 80%of our cast brought in fish . Thank you Tristan!
We chose this as our batchelor party and was a 10/10 experience. Fished, Seen dolphins and relaxed on the island. Tristan made this trip better than we couldve imagined amazing dude. Family and friends can enjoy this all ages. Truly a good time and will be back again in the near future. Tristan is the guy to go to!! He does anything you ask for and truly was a blessing !

Tristan was amazing! He let the kids drive the boat and help them fish so Mom and Dad could spend time fishing too. Both kids caught fish with his help. We had an awesome time.
