Enjoy fishing the flats and backcountry for a wide variety of Inshore species with Captain Kevin of Strippin Lips Charters. From the Backwaters of Ormond Beach to Ponce Inlet, down to World Famous Mosquito Lagoon, you'll go where the fish are.

You'll be fishing aboard a 185 Baycraft Flats edition skiff which comfortably fits 4 people plus the Captain. You will have access to areas other boats can't get to, giving you the upper hand when looking to catch a trophy fish in the local waters.

The boat is fully equipped for fishing, with Trim Tabs for a more comfortable and fuel-efficient ride and a Stiffy Push Pole to allow the Captain to guide you silently through the area's shallow waterways. There is also a 70 lbs thrust Autopilot Trolling Motor fitted to the boat, essential for effective inshore fishing. With a draft of just five inches, this boat is ideal for getting to the shallowest of waters.

The captain will happily design your trip to fit in with your desires, whether you want to fish the hidden shallow waterways for Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Flounder, hit the Halifax river to fish the docks, sandbars, drop-offs, and small bays, try your luck on the fly, or fish slightly further out for Tarpon. His excellent knowledge of the area and enthusiastic attitude will ensure this is a fishing trip to remember.

Couldn’t ask for a better captain!
5 hour on June 20, 20261 adult1 child

Captain Kevin made out first adventure in salt water fishing a success and an absolute blast. Fishing started out great with my son reeling in 2 fabulous Red fish. He did his best after we had to move into calmer waters after my son got sea sick to out us on other game fish which turned out to be a success. My son didnt want to leave, I would recommend to everyone as Kevin is very knowledgeable about all the targetable species and has plenty of spots to go. 10/10!!!

Morning half day trip
Half Day Trip - Inshore (AM) on February 8, 20212 adults

The trip over all was excellent. The fishing was a little slow but we still caught multiple species of fish. Captain Dave was able to point out some porpoises, sea turtles and a couple of different types of sharks and made the whole trip entertaining. I would definitely book another trip with Captain Dave.

Captain Kevin comes from a family of people who are passionate about spending time on the water. Over the years he has explored his love of the water, spending many years fishing around the great lakes northern minnesota and wisconsin waters. Also spent many hours in the north florida area learning everything he can about the inshore waterways from Tomoka State Park to the mosquito lagoon. Nowadays he enjoys sharing his love both for inshore fishing and fishing offshore with his clients aboard his 30.5' grady white
