Captain took us to good spots but the fish just weren’t biting. We each caught at least 1 or 2 but nothing worth keeping. We did an afternoon charter and it was a cold morning. Would try again with this captain even with the lack of luck this trip. Bottom line: The captain was great with our 4yo and appeared to really know his stuff. You can’t make the fish bite but he made the trip enjoyable either way.

Had a good trip with Captain Dave, he reached out to advise the weather was going to be rough on the day we had selected and were able to bump our trip up. Captain Dave was very knowledgeable and personable, and we had good conversations while out on the water. Saw a shark, caught some red snapper, and had a good time.

Capt. Dave was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable of the area and variety of sea life we encountered. Dave made sure we did not have a dull moment. 6 hours was not enough time for us. We highly recommend Strippin Lips and we are already talking about planning another.

We had a great time with Captain David. We caught tons of fish. The boat had plenty of space for the six of us. It was a very comfortable, smooth ride to the fishing spots. The captain worked hard all day helping with our lines and bait and making sure we caught fish and then filleting it all at the end. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this fishing charter.

We booked a half day, morning trip. Weather was great, captain was awesome and personable, and the fish were biting. First line down was a hit and it never stopped the entire time. I estimate we caught between 60-70 and kept 23 lane snappers. Caught a lot of out-of-season red snappers and those provided a nice fight. Boat handled the water well and got us to our spot quickly. We will be back!
