There's a fish with your name on it in Morehead City and From The Bottom Charters will help you catch it!

Species like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Amberjack, Speckled Trout, Gray Triggerfish, Black Seabass, Gag Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Flounder, and more could be biting if conditions are right. For these fish, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Joshua also offers Flounder gigging.

From The Bottom Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 27' Boston Whaler Outrage center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
