If you're ready to have fun fishing in Manistee, book a trip with East Side Guide Service. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jesse knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Atlantic Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and plenty more. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Jesse welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!
Your excursion begins aboard a 21' Crestliner aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with East Side Guide Service?
