  Afternoon trip produced zero fish. Wasn't that important to me as was beautiful day and got to spend the day with my kids and brother. Captain Pat gave us a couple lobsters from his traps and offered us night trip, free of charge. My brother, son, and I decided to take him up on offer and came back a few hours later. Once they started biting, we were able to reel in 11 stripers. Was a long day and just spending time with family was more important. Captain Pat made the day so enjoyable with the camaraderie and banter, it felt like he's been part of our family for years. Without a doubt, I highly recommend booking a charter with Pat and look forward to booking a trip in the future

  Responsible and Dedicated Captain, Wonderful Trip

  It was our first experience of fishing in Boston harbor. When you are on board, the captain matters the most. We were very lucky to meet Captain Patrick for a tough day. It was a hard day for everyone on the sea. Only one or two ships in the same spot with us caught a very little number of fish. We all know it was unusual and unlucky. However, Captain Patrick didn’t give up, we neither. His consistency of trying new spots and his great experience and precise observation lead us to a 34’ striped bass. Previously, we thought maybe we wouldn’t catch any striper just like what most people did on the sea on that day. But then Patrick was actively chasing fish for baits and was able to snag some which lead us to our goal fish of the day. Even it was not easy, it was a fantastic experience. Again, thanks to Captain Patrick.

  5 Hour Night Trip - Striped Bass on August 12, 2026 • 2 adults

  Captain Patrick has an infectious enthusiasm about fishing. He loves his work and sharing the joy with his clients! His boat was clean and efficiently configured. He used his fish finder to good effect, moving us around various spots until we found a huge school of stripers just offshore. No keepers, but the 2 of us landed 3 stripers each ranging from 35-42 inches using live eels. Easy pick up and drop off at Fan Pier in the Seaport District. The sunset was gorgeous, and there were very few boats fishing after the sun went down. Would recommend Captain Patrick very highly and look forward to going out with him again in the future.

  I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Strike Zone Charters and Captain Patrick! We booked a four-hour morning charter to celebrate my birthday while my two nephews were visiting me in Boston and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of their entire trip…& hands down the best birthday morning I could have asked for!!! Both of my nephews left the boat having caught the biggest fish of their lives, including an incredible 38-inch striped bass! Watching their excitement as they reeled in those fish was something I will never forget. This was the kind of morning these boys will still be talking about years from now. Captain Patrick was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at home on the boat from the moment we arrived. He was wonderful with the boys, kept things fun and exciting, and made sure everyone had a great experience. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants his guests to have an unforgettable day on the water. The fishing was unforgettable, the Boston Harbor views were beautiful, and we honestly loved every single second of our four hours with Strike Zone. If you’re looking for a striped bass charter in Boston, book Strike Zone Charters and fish with Captain Patrick. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better birthday experience.   Best Striped Bass Charter Ever!

  My husband and 15-year-old son recently went on a 5-hour striped bass charter with Captain Patrick, and they had an outstanding experience. They caught over a dozen bass and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, which made the trip even more enjoyable. They've been on several fishing charters over the years, and both agreed that this was one of the best. Captain Patrick was knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard to make sure they had a successful and memorable day on the water. If we're ever back in the Boston area, we will definitely book another trip with him. Thank you, Captain Patrick, for an amazing day and memories!
