It's time to have a fabulous lake adventure with Midway Charters. Spend the day on Lake Ontario with Captain James W. Fetterhoff Sr. This lake is known for being one of the best places for reeling in large freshwater fish.

Capt. James is a seasoned veteran of the lakes, with over 25 years of fishing experience. From the moment you get out on the water, you will see his profound love of it all. He will use every ounce of his skill and local knowledge to make sure you get the most out of your trip, no matter your age or experience level.

Step on board his 30' Penn Yan offshore sportfishing boat. It can fit you and 5 of your fishing friends on board without bumping elbows. This boat is a steady ride with lots of room on deck, perfect for lake fishing. The twin 240 HP Crusader engines will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it.

On this trip, you will be targeting Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Salmon, and Steelhead. Brown Trout is great from April through December. The other species are best from May onwards. Whatever your age, Capt. James will happily show you the tricks of the trade and help you land your trophy catch or personal best.

Included in the price are top-quality rods and reels. These won't let you down when reeling in your dream fish. Live bait and lures are also included. You will need to buy a fishing license before the trip, and bring along your own food and drink in a small cooler, but please don't bring along anything that could break easily.
