You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Roland can also have you kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Capt. Roland is happy to have kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your trip begins aboard a 26' Pathfinder bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
