Miss Madison Charter Service LLC
There's a fish with your name on it in Saco and Miss Madison Charter Service will help you catch it! Captain James will be your guide, which means you'll tap into their local experience.
Around here it's common to catch Haddock, Herring, Dogfish, Cod, Atlantic Mackerel, Blue Shark, Pollock, Porbeagle Shark, Thresher Shark, Bluefin Tuna, Whiting, Halibut, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. On these trips, it's common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Your vessel for the day is a 36' Pacemaker sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Miss Madison Charter Service.

Captain Jim and mate Amber both very friendly and knowledgeable. We had 4 15yr old boys all novice with offshore fishing. we started slow catching small fish then the captain switched things up added more weight due to the fast current/drift and kept moving until we hit a pocket of good size keeper pollock. Lagest was 32” and smallist 25”. we caught 8 in 30 min and had a blast. Amber kept us baited up and entertained. She professionally filleted all the fish and squid that we caught on the way back.

Hi James. Thank you for the review. Glad you all had a good time. Those were definitely some nice size Pollock. Hope to see you again sometime. Captain James Kelley
It was a great fishing trip with plenty of fish caught. The captain and first mate made us feel welcomed and were extremely helpful with bait and taking fish off the hook. Will definitely use them again if in the area again.

Hi Lawrence. Thank you for the review. glad you had a good time and hope to see you again sometime. Captain James Kelley

We were on the fish from the minute we got out there to the very end of a whole 8 hr trip! There was literally so much reeling people were begging for a break. We caught a huge amount of pollock, along with some mackerel and squid we brought back to eat and we had to release about 5x what we caught. Filled the barrel. Can't recommend Jim and his family enough. Great experience with good people, 10/10.
