Caleb’s Guide Service offers professional guided fishing charters out of Portland, OR. Caleb has been fishing since he was a kid and will put his knowledge and experience to work for you while fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, Trout, Sturgeon, and Kokanee. Fish with him and you will always be in good company and a safe environment. Come aboard for a great time and let the fish take care of themselves!

Step aboard a 25’ Alumaweld powered by 200 HP Mercury motor. This craft has a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots and comes equipped with advanced fishing technology. On board you will find Shimano and G. Loomis fishing gear at the ready. This boat can carry up to four passengers and children are welcome.

While fishing the waters surrounding Portland you will find many sought-after species, including Salmon, Kokanee, Steelhead, and Sturgeon. Depending on the season and conditions, Caleb will take you where the bite is best and will help you target your catch using a variety of techniques. From drift fishing and trolling to jigging and fly fishing, he is prepared to help you land an unforgettable catch. When he’s not fishing in Portland, you can find him on the coastal streams and rivers in Astoria and Tillamook.

Caleb’s Guide Service provides all fishing gear, including fly fishing equipment. You may keep your catch and Caleb will clean and fillet it for you. Water and soft drinks are provided, and you may request to have coffee, as well. Just be sure to bring a valid Oregon fishing license.

Unforgettable Trip with Caleb’s Guide Service

If you're looking for a top-tier fishing experience, Caleb’s Guide Service in Portland is the one to book. I had an incredible day on the water with Captain Caleb. Everything from the boat and gear to his expertise and attitude was spot on. The boat was clean, comfortable, and outfitted with high-quality equipment. Caleb was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped aboard. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to fishing, he makes sure you are having a great time and know what you are doing. Caleb knew exactly where to go and kept me in the fish throughout the trip. I caught two beautiful King salmon and had a third monster on that was so strong it straightened the hook! Beyond the fishing, Caleb was just fun to be around. He shared local knowledge, great conversation, and even cleaned my catch at the end of the day. It felt more like fishing with an experienced friend than a guided tour. AWESOME TRIP!!!!

Caleb was unable to make the trip due to a family emergency but solved the problem before we even knew! He found another guide to cover the trip (Kyle - shoutout) and we caught two AWESOME sized chinook salmon! Caleb and Kyle both seem like awesome individuals and super knowledgeable about fishing! Highly recommend either one of them! Also the donuts at the drop spot we had in Nehalem called Pacific Roots Coffee and Mini Donuts!

I’ve done many guided trips and Caleb was amongst the best. Very easy going, he works hard and is calm and great with our group. You can’t always bet on catching but we reached our limits. Highly recommend

Great Captain and great equipment. He tried everything to bring in the catch. To many boats fishing the area and I only saw one fish caught out of maybe 75 boats. Sometimes it just doesn't work.
