Farside Outfitters is here to show you the stunning waters of Miami. Captain Alejandro will be your guide, which means you'll tap into years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, White Marlin, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Alejandro can also help you try kite fishing.

You'll find yourself aboard a 34' SeaVee center console with room for 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Alejandro will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You may need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask.

You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Farside Outfitters?

Conditions were definitely less than ideal. He worked hard to make sure we caught fish and was a great host as well.

Just not worth the money.
Half Day Trip – Offshore on March 30, 20267 adults

We showed up 15 minutes prior and couldnt get a hold of the captain, but I think that had more to do with the app itself. The captain should’ve cancelled, because we paid for 4 hours of offshore fishing and he ended up saying it was too choppy, so we fished inshore. We didnt catch a thing, only live bait & a remora fish.

Response from Captain

Hello Fernando, Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We completely understand how frustrating unexpected situations especially involving weather can be, and we always aim to make every charter as smooth and enjoyable as possible. At the same time, for safety reasons, we do continue operating under most weather conditions while offering alternatives when needed to ensure everyone’s well-being. We also want to clarify that our team reached out the night prior with detailed information regarding your charter, including arrival instructions and direct contact details for the captain. Unfortunately, we did not receive any calls or messages in response. That said, we genuinely value your experience and would appreciate the opportunity to make things right. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer you a charter at a discounted rate should you decide to come back and give us another try. Please feel free to reach out to us directly we’d love the chance to provide you with the experience we’re known for.
