Highly recommend David. our original trip was canceled due to weather but he rescheduled us for the next day and communicated quickly. the boat and equipment is high quality and well taken care of. when we got to our spot we were on fish right away. we were catching fish all throughout the trip and ended up with 5 keepers between me and my girlfriend. any time you have a question hed have an answer and would give you tips/what to look for. The boat was very comfortable even in higher seas; we stayed dry. Attentive: he knew just the right time and level of care with my wife and I. It was our first offshore experience. Kept us with the poles in the water! We caught a lot of fish. We did the 6-hour shipwrecks and reefs. Captain David Plants is extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot. We caught our limit of red snappers, and then plenty of almaco jack, ramora, and vermillion snapper. Captain Dave was great with our teenage son, an avid fisherman, and our teenage daughter who was less experienced. The whole family each caught several fish. The meeting location was easy to find. I highly recommend the trip!

This was our first offshore fishing trip. We’ve done a few inshore, but we weren’t sure what to expect or how we would feel going offshore. This was by far the best trip that we’ve ever taken. The boats at Overkill Adventures all look like showroom conditions, which shows the pride Captain David takes in his business. We felt a high level of security while offshore and reassurance that we were in good hands. On top of that, we caught so many fish that we didn’t want to go back to land!
