If you're ready to love fishing in Chicago, look no further than Gina Bella Charters. With Captain Rob at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

We target Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, and occasionally hook into Atlantic Salmon and Pink Salmon. For these species, you'll be trolling with baits from top to bottom.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available.

You'll be trolling lines from a 35' Tiara sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, up to date electronics, plenty of seating and everything you need for a productive day on the water, including all rods, reels and baits. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work for tips and it's customary to offer them a minimum 20% tip. This is a family operation as the mates are one of Rob's two sons or his dad. Combined, the 4 of them have well over 100 years combined experience fishing Lake Michigan.

You will need to purchase an Illinois fishing license and a Salmon stamp before the trip. A Trout stamp is not needed. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

We recommend you to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We clean and bag the fish onboard free of charge for you to take home. We filet the fish for you. We will not gut them.

Located in Montrose Harbor which is the only harbor in the Chicago system that has free street parking. Park on the north side of the harbor and we will pick you up 50 feet from where you park.
