Chrome Rangers NW – Portland
Portland has a fish with your name on it, so let Chrome Rangers NW help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Cory can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Sturgeon, Walleye, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your vessel for the day is a 26' Umpqua Marine aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Cory will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captian Cory was amazing! My son and I always like to fish when we travel and the Pacific Northwest was one for the books. Cory was great, provided great comminication days in advance and an epic time on the boat. The next time we are here we will definitely book with Cory.

Thank you Dan, you guys were fun glad you guys enjoyed your time in the PNW.
Cory is experienced in navigating the waters of the Columbia River Gorge and is ready to take you on a therapeutic fishing excursion. Keep your eyes peeled for Sturgeon, Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, and Walleye as you try your hand at bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, jigging, and more, the only way to learn is to join them on the water.
