If you're ready to get hooked on fishing in Tamarindo, we've got you covered with the Mako 28.
Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Snowy Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan.
Children are welcome, so bring them onto the water!
We operate a 28' Center console Mako with room for 5 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. We will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
A first mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly and take care of yours and your family's needs.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip online. We will send you the link to purchase them. Some species are protected so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, hats and sunscreen (non-spray please). There will be drinks offered but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles if possible. There will be food and some light snacks included on board as well.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with the Mako 28!
