We were so impressed with captain Noah and his first mate.  We landed 3 sailfish by 9:30am and then we got word that Tuna were in the area and the chase was on.  We arrived and 6 other boats were trying to catch the tuna amongst the spinning dolphins.  Captain Noah persevered and out lasted everyone and we caught a 40-50 lb yellow fin tuna and man what a fight it was.  They made us fresh sashimi on the boat then had it all filleted for us to take to the local restaurant on the beach and we had it done in Tuna Tatar, Tuna Sashimi, Grilled, Blackened and Cajun style.

We had an unforgettable day with Sea Breeze charter! This was our first sport fishing trip with the kids, 10 and 12, and we did the 3/4 day tour.

The meeting point was easy to find, Noah and Julian were there and ready to go when we arrived. They had a great plan in place for the day, with a variety of spots and different kinds of fishing. They were patient teachers and helped guide us on how to jig and how to successfully pull in fish. And we got SO MANY chances to practice!! I was expecting a fun day out on the water and maybe a few bites, but we ended up scoring a Grand Slam- Yellowfin tuna, 80 lb sailfish, and 40 lb mahi mahi. Simply incredible!!!

The pineapple snack, sandwich, and the surprise sashimi platter from the fish that we caught and Julian expertly filleted were great and they provided us with a variety of drinks.

Overall, we would have been happy with this experience even if we didn’t end up with such an exciting haul. We would definitely recommend this charter. Pura vida!

This was my first time deep sea fishing, and I honestly can’t imagine a better experience than what we had with Sea Breeze. From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Noah and his first mate Jose had everything running like clockwork. Within minutes of dropping our first line, we were already reeling in fish.

We wound up catching some Yellowfin Tuna & a few Red Snapper.  But the real highlight of the day? Hooking a Black Marlin!! The adrenaline-pumping experience you dream about. Watching it leap out of the water was like something straight out of National Geographic.

What made the trip even better was how smoothly everything was handled. Noah and Jose were absolute pros- calm, focused, and clearly experienced. They made the whole process feel easy and exciting. On top of the incredible fishing, they also provided snacks, drinks, and lunch, which was a huge plus when you’re out on the water all day.

We had the best time fishing in Costa Rica with Noah and Julien on the Sea Breeze! We caught all kinds of fish — tuna, grouper, and even some colorful surprises.

Besides what we caught, we saw turtles, sailfish (didn’t want to play with us….), dolphins were plentiful and Humpback whale’s. 

They made us feel so welcome and kept it fun and relaxed all day. One of the highlights was enjoying super fresh sashimi right on the boat with avocado and onions — so good!

The boat was comfortable and nice, beach/marina and area were beautiful and they took great care of us. When we got back to the beach they suggested “Walter’s” beach side restaurant for use to have our catch prepared.  Louis (Mr Handsome) was an awesome, fun, busy but attentive server. We chose the full day trip and we made the right decision!  Started off with jigging off some reefs for skip jacks, red snapper, and a small grouper.  Proceeded to troll and pick up a sail fish, Mahi mahi, and more skip jacks.  We saw sea turtles, a pod of dolphins swimming along with the boat and still had time to wrap up back at the reefs and catch numerous more fish including a yellowfin tuna and even hooked a second sailfish while jigging.  Noah and Julian are impeccable hosts, cleaned the fish and made us the famous yellow fin sashimi on the boat.  Plenty of snacks, drinks, and good lunch.  Good shade on the boat.  A perfect day!
