I had a great experience fishing with Taylor and would absolutely book with him again. I booked my trip with only about 24 hours’ notice, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. From the moment we got on the water, it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing. He consistently put us on fish, and if a spot slowed down, he didn’t hesitate to move us to a better location. His goal was clearly to make sure we had the best experience possible. Taylor was friendly, personable, and great to spend the day with. There were two of us in the group with different skill levels, and he did an excellent job helping and encouraging each of us equally, making sure we both had a successful and enjoyable trip. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable captain who works hard to make your trip worthwhile, I highly recommend booking with Taylor.

Awesome trip! Looking forward to seeing yall again!
We had an absolutely fantastic day on the water! From the moment we left the dock, the captain was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to find the fish and took the time to share tips and insights that made the trip even more enjoyable. His experience and passion for what he does were evident throughout the day, and he worked hard to make sure we had a great time. To top it all off, he cleaned our catch perfectly before we headed home, making the entire experience completely hassle-free. If you’re looking for an outstanding charter captain who is knowledgeable, hardworking, and dedicated to giving you a memorable day on the water, look no further. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking another trip. Highly recommended!

Awesome trip! Looking forward to seeing you guys again!
We had an incredible day out on the water with Captain Collins in Jacksonville, Florida! He took my son and me out along the intracoastal, and it turned into a trip we’ll be talking about for a long time. Captain Collins was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. He put us right on the fish, and we ended up catching several different species—including some massive redfish that were an absolute blast to reel in! What really stood out was how hard he worked to keep us on the action. If the fish weren’t biting, he didn’t hesitate to change things up—moving spots, adjusting techniques, and doing whatever it took to get us hooked up. That kind of dedication made all the difference. He was also great with my son—making sure he was engaged, having fun, and learning along the way. It made the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing guide in the Jacksonville area, I can’t recommend Captain Collins enough. We’ll definitely be booking another trip!

I originally grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. At nineteen years old I joined the Marine corps and served four years. After that contract I ended up in Mayport, Florida serving a four-year contract in the Navy. The one passion that I have always pursued is fishing. While I was in the Navy here in Mayport, I worked for a used boat dealer and got my captain's license. Any free time I had was spent on the water looking for redfish, trout, and flounder. I enjoyed the fishing in this area so much that I decided it was time to become a permanent Florida resident. What I love about fishing, is that there will always be something new to learn, regardless of how much experience you have. When you head out from the boat ramp as the sun is rising, whatever problems or difficulties you have on land seem to go away for that short amount of time spent on the water. Theres also nothing quite like sight casting a redfish in shallow water and feeling the thump of the bite and the sound of the drag screaming. Jacksonville has an unbelievable fishery, and I would love to show you all that it has to offer!
