Spend the day with Keepin It Reel Sportfishing and get hooked on fishing in New London!
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!
On these trips, you can expect to see lots of sea life including but not limited to whales snd dolphins! While we like to focus on jig and pop light tackle techniques for bluefin tuna, there are times we may need to troll. Although trolling is usuallt not our method of choice, it can be extremely effective and bery exciting when multiple rods go off at the same time with large paleagics jumping out of the water to eat our baits!
Your excursion begins aboard a 33' Sportfishing with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now's the time to experience fishing in New London for yourself, with Keepin It Reel Sportfishing!
