If you're ready to try fishing in Gainesville, we've got you covered with North Georgia Striper Hunters. Having logged many hours on these tides, your Captain
is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for White Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, Alligator Gar, Largemouth Bass, Spotted
Bass, Catfish, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 25' Center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
