Overkill Adventures has 4 boats from 19', 24', 26' and a 33' Ocean Master for inshore and offshore trips. Make sure you check out our other boats and charters so you can book the perfect trip.
These waters are known for Grouper, Amber Jack, Triggerfish, Great Barracuda, Blackfin Tuna, Grey Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi, Wahoo, Mackerel and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to freeline live bait, throw artificial lures, troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
We offer 4-8 hour trips to the reefs and wrecks (And 12 hour trips to the oil rigs for Tuna, on our 33' boat). Keep in mind that travel time from the dock is included in the total charter time and sometimes it can take up to an hour to get fishing.
Kids are welcome aboard! Children 6 and under must wear life vests, so let us know their ages prior and we will have the appropriate sizes available. Customers are encouraged to bring plenty of drinks, food and snacks. Bring a small cooler, or use ours. We have plenty of ice and cooler space on board.
You'll find yourself aboard a 24' Sea Pro center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a toilet, navigation, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but we will might stop and catch some on the way out.

So much fun and so many fish. We expected fishing to be slow this time of year based on input from other charter companies. We booked with Overkill Adventures because of the quality of the boats and experience of the captains that work them. We were not disappointed and we guarantee your family won't be either. We also recommend the 6 hour over the 4 hour, luckily we were allowed to extend our trip.
Captain David was great and the boat was incredibly nice. Caught so many fish, he could hardly keep up with putting them on ice and boating our hooks. However, he did just that. I would stop searching and book with Overkill Adventures.
Captain David definitely knows the Gulf waters. The boat seemed brand new(it may be brand new) and the equipment was top notch in quality and condition. We couldn't be happier with an early Spring, late winter trip.
First thing I will say is that you'll be laughing all day, catching fish all day, and having the time of your life! Highly recommended charter company! Take the 6 hour trip not the 4 hour to give yourselves plenty of time.
This trip exceeded my expectations greatly! We only kept enough fish to feed us for a day so the picture doesn't do justice to the actual trip, but we literally caught hundreds of fish! Do it!
