Gasparilla Guide Service offers premier inshore and nearshore fishing charters in the legendary waters of Boca Grande, Florida.
Fish with native guides who grew up on these waters and bring real, hands-on experience to every trip. This isn't guesswork - it's local knowledge built over years of fishing the back bays, flats, and the famous Boca Grande Pass. Whether you're a seasoned angler or stepping aboard for the first time, each trip is designed to be relaxed, productive, and true to the Boca Grande fishing tradition.
These waters are home to some of Florida's most sought-after species, including Tarpon, Snook, Red Drum, Spotted Seatrout, and more, with every trip planned around tides, seasons, and fish behavior to give you the best possible shot at success.
Tarpon season is the highlight of the year, drawing anglers from around the world. Peak tides offer incredible opportunities, but dates fill quickly, so early booking is highly recommended if you want to experience the action.
Beyond fishing, Gasparilla Guide Service also offers private boat tours and scenic cruises for those looking to enjoy the water at a slower pace. Take in a breathtaking sunset, cruise to lunch, or explore the stunning barrier islands that make this area so special. Popular destinations include Cayo Costa State Park, Cabbage Key, and Useppa Island, each offering its own unique charm and laid-back coastal vibe.
Whether you're chasing trophy fish or simply looking to unwind on the water, every trip is tailored to your goals, delivering a genuine Florida experience you won't forget.

Captain Chad Gist grew up in Englewood and spent much of his childhood on Boca Grande, Useppa Island, and Cabbage Key. His first job was as a dockhand at Miller's Marina, where he was immersed in the local fishing culture from an early age. After spending many years in corporate America while raising his family, Chad always found his way back to Englewood to fish and enjoy the Southwest Florida lifestyle. Gasparilla Guide Service was born from his desire to share the same 'old-school' fishing experience he grew up with - simple, authentic, and memorable. Chad is a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain and a proud member of the Boca Grande Fishing Guides Association.
