What a fun trip!  Captain Jake put us on fish as soon as we stopped throttling!  He knows where the fish are and is a fun easy to talk to Captain.  We had a large 6 person boat and all 6 of us had fish on within 20 minutes.  I will definitely book again with Red Eye Charters again.  What was awesome was to be welcomed with Captain Gary at the docks who owns Red Eye!  He was excited for our loot and helped Jake clean all the fish.  We cooked up a few filets tonight and omg were they tasty. ... First time taking my 12 year old son on a boat in the ocean. Captain Gary was local and lived her all his life. Very knowledgeable. Took us out and found a school of snapper and started realing them in after 1st cast.  He took us to another location and we fished for spanish mackerel and caught them also. What an amazing way to spend the afternoon alone with my son and I and the captain. The sunset was awesome.

Captain Jerry was amazing!  This was our first time saltwater fishing & Captain Jerry put us on fish immediately!  He taught us how to catch, kept our hooks baited & our fish in the cooler!  He is also very personable & knowledgeable about the area.  When we returned to the dock, he quickly cleaned our haul & we enjoyed eating our catch that night!  We cannot wait to book with Red Eye & Captain Jerry again!

My 9 year old son wanted to go ocean fishing while on Spring Break in gulf Shores. I found Red Eye Charters when searching online and it was a great experience. We did the near shore experience and will definitely be back for one of the longer trips and bigger fish. Captain Jerry was a great guide and we learned a lot about the Gulf, natural gas rugs in the water, the fish, etc. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, do it!

Captain Jake from red eye was great. He was very knowlegable and fun to fish with. He made sure we got on several different species of fish fast and got our fish cleaned and bagged for us. We will be back for sure
