If it's inshore and nearshore fishing you're after, look no further than 'Live Action Fishing Charters'! Captain Justin Rolph, a Crystal River native, has been running this operation since 2015. This laid-back captain does his best to help you land a great fish while making long-lasting memories.
Your vessel for the day is 22' Nautic Star center console. She can accommodate up to 4 anglers on fishing charters, and 6 on scalloping trips. This smooth-riding boat is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha SHO engine with a Simrad to help keep you on the fish. There is also a cooler onboard to keep your drinks and snacks cool throughout the trip.
Whether you want to fish the flats, sight casting, or head into slightly deeper waters, Capt. Justin has the gear you need to hook your target fish.
From Redfish and Snook to Gag Grouper, Tripletail and Sheepshead, it'll be a rod-bending day! If you'd rather spend your time searching for scallops in the summertime, Captain Justin provides snorkeling gear.
All the fishing and scalloping equipment you need is already on board. At the end of the trip, Capt. Justin is also happy to clean and fillet your catch. Help yourself to the bottled water in the ice box or stock it up with your own drinks and snacks before setting out.

We were a group of 2 moms and 2 teen girls. Captain Justin was so great to the girls and helped us learn what to look for and how to fish adequately for each species as we were reeling them in. He put us on fish and had us do the fishing which is what fishing is all about. We usually were catching fish st the same time which was alot of fun. He had zero issues with untangling our lines. The boat had plenty of room for all of us and there were no problems at all. He was personable and pretty entertaining! We saw eagles and nest, mangroves, ray, remora with a science lesson, dolphins right at the boat, tons of species of fish and sea turtle. and wholy cow all of the fish was delicious! even made fish nachos for breakfast to not let them go to waste. We saw massive tarpon close up as well as pelicans. I see now why he gets regular rebookings. All 4 of us instantly knew this would be the best part of our entire trip! Thank you Justin!

Captain Justin Rolph may not have the biggest or fanciest boat, BUT HE WILL PUT YOU ON FISH. You should know how to cast and reel them in. He let's you fish, not just reel them in. This is unlike some other captains we saw. Their clients were sitting as the captain fished and they only stood up when he handed them the reel!
If you like to catch fish, Captain Justin Rolph is the man to fish with!!

Scalloping is more fun with Justin

My friend and I had the best time scalloping today and having Justin as our captain made it so fun! We saw dolphins and manatees and plenty of scallops. He even helped clean them. We played great music, had a lot of laughs, and he kept us safe with so many other boats in the area. He had a watchful eye! Justin knows the waters well and will help you get your scallop limit! He’ll move and move until you hit the right spots. I highly recommend Justin for your next boat captain for scalloping!

Captain Justin is very experienced, very knowledgeable, and very humorous guy. fishing with him was a great experience. he knows which spot has what fish, and he taught us how to catch each type of them, and he is great support on baiting, dis-entangle lines, and such.
Overall we had lot of fun, caught tons of fish and had a great time.
