Joe Pool Lake is one of North Texas' top bass fishing destinations and offers excellent opportunities year round for Largemouth Bass. Trips are tailored to current seasonal patterns and conditions, using proven techniques including offshore fishing, shallow power fishing, finesse fishing, and forward facing sonar strategies. Every trip is customized to maximize success and create a fun, memorable experience.
Capt. Tyler brings extensive tournament experience from fisheries across the country. His coast to coast success includes numerous top 10 tournament finishes and competition at a high level on the BAM Pro Tour including Angler of the Year last season, competing against some of the best anglers in the sport. That experience translates directly into guided trips by helping clients understand fish behavior, seasonal movements, bait selection, electronics, and tournament level decision making.
Trips take place aboard a fully rigged Phoenix 20' bass boat equipped with modern electronics and quality fishing gear, comfortably accommodating up to 3 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, so guests only need to bring a valid Texas fishing license, whether appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks, and water will be included.

Captain Tyler was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable throughout the entire trip. His welcoming attitude made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience from the moment we met. He was great to talk with, always willing to share his expertise, and made sure everyone had a great time. Fishing with him felt less like hiring a guide and more like spending the day on the water with a good friend. I highly recommend Captain Tyler to anyone looking for a fun, enjoyable, and memorable fishing experience.

Always a great time when I can get on the water, but an even better time with Tyler's help. He took me to specific spots around the lake where he knew I could catch a couple and made sure to explain it all to me. He was patient and kind throughout the process and gave me all the tools I needed to get a couple in the boat. Such a great day and overall experience! Would recommend to anyone looking to get out on the water, learn about the DFW bass fishing scene, and catch some fish!

We caught large mouth bass. Captain Tyler Madden was a good guide. he showed us how to use forward facing sonar and fish. My son and I had a great time. this trip is best for anyone who loves bass fishing.

Fantastic trip—Tyler went above and beyond to get us on the water and on to fish even in tough conditions. friendly, fun, very knowedgeable. he was great and 10/10 recommend for anyone in DFW
Had an amazing time fishing with Tyler while visiting Texas. We caught a 9 and a 7lber. Getting to fish with an accomplished college and pro angler is such a great learning experience. Watching how he breaks down a fishery he’s new to fishing since just moving to Texas is so interesting and we caught big fish!
