My wife and I went out with Cpt. Nick for a 4 hour (3-7pm) trip on the Columbia going after fall Chinook. Nick was great and took time to explain things and answer questions. The bite was slow at first for all boats but he kept trying different depths and baits that ultimately resulted in consistent bites. My wife landed a 28-30 lb beast and I got a 25 lb chromer. We had a great time and will definitely book him for a future trip!
Slow day for all boats on the river but he worked hard and we got a great fish! Very professional and skilled crew.
Highly recommend booking with Nick if you want a captain who hustles hard and treats you right.
