Gavilan Sportfishing
If you're ready to fish Peacock Bass, Tarpon, and Snook in Panama, we've got you covered with Gavilan Sportfishing.
Peacock Bass, Tarpon, Snook, Rainbow Bass, Jack Crevalle, and more could be biting if conditions are right.
On the day of your trip you're likely to jig using light tackle. Capt. Gabriel also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Trips with Gavilan Sportfishing are open to the whole family, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your boat for the day is a 20' Bass boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Gabriel has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Gavilan Sportfishing!
