Halibut, Lingcod, Rockfish, Cod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and more are in the cards, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You'll be casting lines from a 28' Sportfishing that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
