Description

Capt. Crumb’s Outpost is a full-service Bait and Tackle shop that also offers enjoyable, family friendly fishing charters in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. With two boats on offer for charter fishing trips, this 22 ft Nautic Star is ideal for inshore and nearshore trips for all the family.

The versatile Nautic Star is ideal for targeting inshore fish in the shallow waters of Myrtle Beach, and it features a range of shallow water fishing amenities, such as a wireless trolling motor that allows you to stalk your target fish in silence. At the same time, it is a stable boat that can easily fish the nearshore waters, as long as conditions are reasonable. There is also a full range of electronics on board for advanced fish finding ability, and the boat’s live bait tank will keep your bait fresh throughout the trip.

During your trip you will be fishing the protected inshore waters for species such as Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and rocky bottom dwellers or, weather permitting, you may be able to travel further away from the shore in search of Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish , Weakfish, Speckled Trout, and Sharks.

Captain Crumb’s Outpost Fishing Charters provide a cleaning and filleting service for any fish you would like to take home (as long as they are legal, of course). This is available at an extra charge of $20. Disposal is extra.

Captain Crumb provided an awesome experience on our trip.  He told me the game plan for the targeted species as we left the dock.  We began trolling for trout.  He told me when a trout strikes the rig what to do so the trout would stay on.  The bite was slow but he was confident the trout bite would come later in the day when the tide changed.  The Captain was quick to make a run to another location to target black drum.  He demonstrated the technique to use when fishing for black drum then handed me the rod.  We caught about 20.  Since he knew that I wanted to catch more trout, he said it was time to troll.  We caught about 10 then he asked me if I wanted to try for reds.  We used his trolling motor to get close to some structure and I caught 2 reds… what an awesome day… and it was December…. appreciate the day on the water with Captain Crumb

The Captain worked very hard to make sure that we caught fish.  This was the first time for us to fish in the ocean.  Captain Crumb was very helpful in instructing us on how to catch the fish and reel them into the boat.  He also cleaned the fish when we returned to shore.
