Join Captain Jake DellaRose aboard the "Rockin N Rowan" and get ready to cast your line for prized Striped Bass in the Chesapeake Bay! Capt. Jake has been fishing these waters since he was a child. With plenty of knowledge to share, he can’t wait to show you a good time while putting fish in the box.
The Rockin N Rowan is an attractive 32’ Rampage express cruiser, powered by twin Volvo diesel engines. She’s capable of accommodating up to 6 guests, so why not bring along the whole family or your best angling buddies?
She’s fully equipped with top-of-the-line navigational and safety gear, meaning you’ll be treated to a secure and comfortable journey to the bay’s hotspots. Inside, she features a toilet, as well as TV, so you can even combine fishing for Stripers with catching an important game!
Capt. Jake provides top of the line fishing equipment, primarily using Penn reels with 40 lb test line for the ultimate Striped Bass and Bluefish fishing experience. Stripers fight hard, and this fishing gear will make sure that you’re up to the challenge of reeling ‘em in!
Your captain’s preferred technique is trolling, which he does with planer boards and up to 16 rods, meaning he can have over 30 bait in the water at a time. Safe to say, it’s rare for him to return to the dock without a box full of Striper to show off.
Each trip includes top-quality rods and reels, as well as artificial bait. Live bait is available at an additional cost. Capt. Jake will make sure your entire fishing group is covered with a valid license, so all you need to do is come aboard Rockin N Rowan and cast off on the Striper-chasing adventure of your dreams!

Friday Afternoon Striper Success!
Took my dad out for a Father’s Day present with Cptn Jake on Friday afternoon. Both he, and the fishing were awesome! We caught our limit and tried for some catfish but the bite went away. It was a beautiful night out in the water. Jake is super knowledgeable and works his butt off to make sure his guests have a good time. If you want to fish around Baltimore, this is your trip to take!

Have Fun with Captain Jake
Captain Jake worked and got us on the fish. We caught our limit and had a blast. Equipment was top notch and Captain Jake knows the bay and gets you in the right place. He cleaned our catch and we left with beautiful Rock fillets. Highly recommend this boat and Captain Jake. We'll be back again.

Had a great time!
Had a good time with Captain Jacob. The morning started out slow as Captain Jacob took us out into the bay looking for a good spot to fish. It took about two hours to find a good spot (be patient as this may take a while to find an area) Found a couple good spots and then we started pulling the fish in and it was exciting! Captain Jacob was very knowledgeable about the area and fishing. He was very attentive to us and interacts well with children. Showed my son how to cast a line and reel in the fish and allowed him to drive the boat for a few minutes. Captain Jacob is a very nice, honest and kind man and we really enjoyed our time spent with him on Saturday morning. I highly recommend him to families that have young kids and want to take them out fishing.

4 Hour Trip with Captain Jacob
I don't fish but was looking for a fun outing for my daughter's birthday. It was the best cruise as Captain Jacob did just about everything while we sat and wondered how this man could move so fast..he set up and cast our lines, pulled in the fish, measured and repeat. He was fun, personable and took great care in selecting the best spot to cast given the weather and other variables. He takes pride in his boat and his ability to give folks a good experience given whatever their expectations might be. One hardworking individual....thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Thank You Captain Jacob.
